The Getty Villa

Overview
A center for the study of classical antiquities in Malibu, housed within a restored Roman Imperial residence. Working alongside Machado Silvetti, the master plan creates a new sequence of spaces along the hillside, rooted in ancient landscape techniques. New gardens and naturalistic landscapes anchor the architecture to the site and create integrated environmental art.
